Thanks to Steve Weixel, my first stage race led to some nice cycling photos, if not the GC result I was hoping for! My friend, Ginger, upon seeing these photos, sent me an email saying "you sure look fast!" upon which I replied "well, maybe some day I will actually BE fast AND LOOK fast" to which, she replied "I didn't mean to say you WEREN'T fast already!"
Looking fast is half the battle, right??

chris--well, like i said looking fast is half the battle--let's hope i RIDE fast at Kern! I am in race withdrawal because i don't have any for 2 weeks! Amazing how addiction works so quickly. First season, and 12 races later I'm completely addicted, even though it's not like I'm winning all the time or anything.
Looking fast implies you have the right form, so that is a lot of the battle. Good luck at Kern; we would be taking Ms. Chatterbox for the fest if not for a wedding ... who in their right mind scedules a wedding during racing season? :-)
weddings should NEVER be on race weekends...it just shouldn't be allowed!! One of my teammates also has to go to a wedding during Kern...which is why I'm without a team that day.

you'll do great at kern. there is a velogirl named dani going. you should introduce yourself. maybe you can help each other.
